Mindfulness Day Retreat - 25th April

Imagine stepping away from your responsibilities and your day-to-day life for a whole day, allowing yourself time to relax and switch off from the busyness of life; really giving yourself permission to look after yourself.
We all know our lives can be non-stop, and we’re hearing how important self-care is; not only to ourselves, but to help those around us. Let’s face it, we can’t pour from an empty jug!
This day-long retreat is the perfect way to do all that; look after our body, mind, and selves!
The retreat will consist of numerous meditations, mindful activities, movements, and sound healing, alongside getting the chance to savour our delicious lunch for an hour of mindful eating in the middle of the day! The retreat, once we’ve arrived and settled in, will be done in silence – fully embracing our presence and allowing ourselves to switch from ‘doing mode’ into ‘being mode’. What better way to enjoy our day than in our moment to moment experience!
Overview of the schedule:
10:00 – 10:30 - Arrival, relax and settle in with a cuppa
10:30 – 13:00 – Mix of meditations, movements and mindful activities
13:00 – 14:00 – Mindful Lunch!
14:00 – 15:45 – Mix of meditations and movements
15:45 – Closing ceremony and home-time!
The deposit, paid through Eventbrite, is £20.00, and is non-refundable. The full price of the day retreat is £40.00 and the remaining amount is to be prior to the day (more details will be emailed).
If your circumstances change for whatever reason, or you are on financial aid, and you would like to discuss other ticket options, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I want to make this retreat accessible to as many as possible, irrespective of financial circumstances.
The retreat is held in the beautiful Old Barn in Pollok Park. This means that whatever the weather, come rain or shine, we’ll have a brill time with indoor and outdoor areas for us to use and enjoy. More information, such as what to bring and everything else needed, will be sent by email.
