Developing Resilience: 6-Week Course

Resilience is the ability to cope with the challenges and set-backs we face in life, and not only to bounce back from them, but to learn from them and become stronger. Developing resilience refers to taking challenges in our stride and there are various ways we can cultivate and develop our resilience in our lives; dealing with stresses in a more effective way.
This course is set out over 6 weeks to allow us to cultivate and develop our resilience in numerous areas. We all have the ability to develop personal reliance and this course allows each person to tap into the skills required to bounce back from adversity.
Week 1 – Awareness – How mindfulness practices can help ground us and build our resilience
Week 2 – Handling Emotions – Gaining a new perspective with emotional intelligence
Week 3 – Connection – Exploring how fundamental our internal and external connection is to resilience
Week 4 – Energy – Building awareness of our energy and how vital this is to resilience
Week 5 – Confidence – Exploring confidence, self-esteem and resilience
Week 6 – Our Resilience – Bringing together what we've learned on how we cultivate it, incorporate it, and thrive in our lives
All six sessions live online through zoom

MP3 audios for meditations which are yours to keep
Exploring this topic in a group setting; sharing ideas and the journey with others
A certificate of completion
Support in the form of 1-1's is an additional option
Dates: March 23rd, 30th, April 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
Time: Each session is on a Tuesday evening from 18:00 – 19:30 (UK time)
Location: Online through zoom
Cost: This course is on a sliding scale to help support everyone:
General admission – For those in full-time paid employment - £295 (£100 booking fee)
Reduced Price – For those on low-income - £150 (£50 booking fee)
Donation Price – For those suffering financial hardship - £80 (£40 booking fee)
The price on Eventbrite is for the booking fee only. The remaining amount is due prior to the course starting.
Group Size: To allow for creating a safe space to share and participants to feel comfortable, there is limited spaces on the course.
